Untitled (canyon drawings)

2014
A series of drawings made with spiralina, polyurethane, and images ripped from a catalog of photographs by Tad Nichols documenting Glen Canyon, Utah before it was dammed and thereby submerged in 1956. A liquid mark obscures the image of what was, notating the destruction and submersion of the land/canyon.
